FAQs
How big is the smoovii?
The smoovii has a capacity of 500 ml, which our research showed was the perfect size for portability whilst also big enough for a satisfying meal!
Does the smoovii crush ice?
Yes! The smoovii can handle frozen fruit and small pieces of ice. We recommend adding plenty of liquid with small pieces of ice so the smoovii can blend properly. Our personal favourite is adding ice to some coffee and milk for the perfect iced coffee.
Can I put hot liquids in the smoovii?
As long as the liquid isn’t hotter than 60°C (140°F), go for it. Sometimes a little drizzle of warm melted chocolate is what a recipe needs to go from good to great!
How many blades does the smoovii have and how strong are they?
The smoovii has six blades and a powerful motor of 22,000 RPM, strong enough to crush anything you would need to blend!
How do I wash the smoovii?
Simply add warm water and a drop of washing up liquid, then blend the smoovii once and rinse. This is our BlendWash™, which should only take 30 seconds and removes the hassle from washing up! Please don’t be tempted to submerge the blender in water or place it in the dishwasher.
My smoovii has a flickering red light. What should I do?
This could mean that the motor is blocked, so please make sure there’s enough liquid in your recipe. Carefully tip your smoovii upside down and give it a little shake to free the blades. If that doesn’t work please unscrew the glass and remove any large or hard chunks of food that may be blocking the motor.
My smoovii flashes red and blue when I try and use it. What should I do?
This means that your glass isn’t secured, so please make sure it’s tightly screwed in. The smoovii has a built-in safety mechanism, so the blender won’t turn on unless the glass is securely on.
My smoovii won’t charge. What should I do?
Make sure you wait for your smoovii to go from a red light to a blue light, which indicates it’s fully charged. If no light comes on when you charge it please try a different socket and, if possible, a different USB charger.
What is covered under warranty?
If your smoovii is experiencing any technical difficulties, please send us a video of the problem and we’ll make it right for you. If you drop your blender or submerge it in water, this won’t be covered under warranty.
